FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Please read our ABOUT US page for current and future information.  We have switched from online radio to virtual streaming effective Sep 2020.

When did Rundgren Radio start?   The first show was August 29, 2007.

Are the radio shows just about Todd Rundgren? Not at all, but he is the common bond between all the guests.  Todd has been in the music business for over 40 years and has a vast network of connections so they've had plenty of guests to invite on for shows.

How long do the shows last?   Early on the shows were an hour long but after the first year they began doing two hour shows.  The Special Edition shows they do now are anywhere from one to two hours.  The newer virtual vision show times are random and have gone as long as almost 6 hours (NYE 2020).

What if I missed the live shows?  Not a problem.  All the radio shows are permanently archived at  Anchor.FM/RundgrenRadio!  All of the virtual vision shows can be found on our YouTube channel:
https://www.youtube.com/c/RundgrenRadio

Who hosts the shows?  Most of the shows are hosted by Doug, the founder of Rundgren Radio, and co-host CruiserMel.  They've had special guest hosts a few times including Michele Rundgren, EJ & Steve Haas, Wendy Carson, Roger Linder, Pippi Kovach, Thom Jennings, and David Jurmin.

Does Todd know about Rundgren Radio?  Absolutely.  Rundgren Radio is not officially affiliated with Todd Rundgren or his management, etc.  Rundgren Radio is a fan based show.

Has Todd ever been on a Rundgren Radio show?  Yes, he has been the special guest several times.   The first time he was on an RR show was during Toddstock and he did over an hour long epic interview that included great questions from several fans (aired 6/21/08) and it still remains the most downloaded RR show.  The second most downloaded show is the one with Andy Partridge from XTC.

With the addition of Onward Promotions, does Rundgren Radio still present Todd concerts?  Absolutely.  If you'd like to keep up with the Todd concerts they present you can sign up for the free email updates or check the Events page on this site.
